Blencathra Bagged

The sun was out early but we weren't out early enough. Hoping to bag Blencathra via Sharp Edge but were thwarted by the weather - just as we were about to traverse the edge we were rained out and blown back down to achieve the summit in the less challenging direction - which meant a bit more down and a whole lot more up but was sooooo worth it. Great climb and when we finally got to the top the weather cleared so we could see all the views far and wide. We will go again and conquer Sharp Edge but in weather more conducive to such a noble and worthy scramble. All I can say is hooray for 4 legs - we so outdo the 2 leggeds!

Charlie's Big Adventure
I'm quiet, well behaved, love socialising, car trips and walks. Rachel is my best friend. I love adventures - especially with Rachel. I was found walking out of the bush in Darwin, Australia when I was 6 months old. Rachel picked me out of all the others and we have been together ever since.
